DIe musik der jugent ;)

Hey leute mal was auf deutsch

Okay it is Sunday and I really should do my homework but honestly: who cares?

On time my brother had his two birthday parties. Therefore let my tell you how he celebrated. It was an easy kind of way, why? Because we just sad up the GameCube and the PS2 and the kids could play. Some also brought there handhelds (DS). So it was a nice afternoon for the parents. Parents? Yes the first party was with his friends that are also homeschooled and what shall I say homeschoolers are doing nearly everything with there kids. Including birthday parties. So the adults had a little chat while there kids were playing games or jumping on the trampoline. As far as I am concerned I went to Sandias  football game and once more enjoyed the great atmosphere of it. Yesterday he had a party with his gymnastic friends. My and Bruce (my host dad) went on a hike. We drove up to the Sandia Crest and walked along the crest. Pictures of this will soon be posted in my new Picture Blog “JumpWar Pics” http://jwpics.blog.com/

So this party only meant I had pizza for the 3. time for dinner this week. (I had it about 2 times for lunch)

I already tolled you about the scarlet letter we have to wear in school. Let my tell you or teacher really suddenly just stud in our class and checked if we are wearing it. Not that she would have a life or something no she just walks through the whole school.

By the way have I toled youn that everything suddenly is green and no longer brown if drive around the mountains?

Be that as it is the weather in
Albuquerque is still great and so is my exchange.

A week of mystery

Long time that I haven’t wrote so enjoy

Yesterday was my host-brothers Birthday. So he got a few presents and played WoW for nearly the whole day. Because of his birthday we went to have dinner at Dion’s. By the way I am now quiet familiar with calling every place where you can get some kind of food a restaurant.

School right now is pretty fun because some people ask me to teach them a bit German. And from my point of view it is just too funny how they are not able to pronounce the words.

The sentences I am using the most in the moment are “I am not sure how to phrase this…” just because it is the truce and to tell it to people avoids a lot of trouble.

Oh and the mystery. There for you have to know that we are reading “Scarlet Letter” in Lit. and we have to make and wear a scarlet letter for a whole week. Ms. Chase will burst in our classes to check if we are really doing it. So I thought it would be fun to show you my letter and let you all guess what it stands for. Of cause I will tell you in one week but not earlier.

And tomorrow we have on emore footballgame so “We ganna fight’ fight’ fight for SHS”

Keep it interesting

Trying to see the good part of everything I have to say there is a good part in not to know what to write for a while you have more ideas some time later. And the last days were just to interesting to not write something.

Yesterday we of cause had school first. But after school Daniel went over to our house. Thanks to him we mist the bus but man that happens. He came over because I wanted to shove him some of my digital art works. Because we both have CMP Graphics and we are both in digital arts club. Finally he was able to teach me how to create an incredible planet. (View bottom of post) And I also was able to show him some little things.

By the way I am thinking about making a second blog for Photoshop tutorials don’t know jet if I will do it but the idea exists.

Than in the evening we went to the football game of our school and everyone reading this for a bit knows I love football games. And of cause the Matadors won 48 to 6 so we are now unbeaten for 4 games (we had 4 games). During the game I bored myself a Sandia shirt yes I know that most guys in the Stats are of the opinion that you shouldn’t buy them but I wanted to have one. And later I nearly hatched one. Lucky how I am just a few seconds later another one hit my face so I capped that one to.

Today we went to the “Renezons Fair” in
Santa Fe (in German “Mittelaltermarkt”). It was really amazing and fun to watch these people fighting with swords. The biggest pleasure was the costume contest.

In the next days I will upload a video I made during the fair on YouTube. Of cause I will link it here.

Just about the headline: we first didn’t get two touchdowns in the football game. And I noticed I have to talk more to people even if I say bullshit because otherwise I won’t get to know many people. Why I am telling you this? Because I best work under pressure and hell about 30 readers that I know that’s pressure.

All of you a great day. (I now need to do homework)

Just something ^^

In the moment I have slow but finally reached the point where I don’t have to spend the whole afternoon in order to do my assignment. Even though physics still needs a few hours a week
I think I would realy bore you if I just tell you what I have done because realy it is not so much different from Germany than you would expect. Or that at least is my point of view.
Today was the first time for my to go to a pool in the Staats. And what a mirracle they aren’t that different from the once in Germany. They just have Liveguards everywhere

Oh and no matter if you are interested or not  here my final mask for CMP Graphics (an A+)

And on time I am a realy big football fan I am watching every game of our school team (if I am able to).

This is the bad thing: while time passes by I am getting more and more used to everything here it all becomes more and more familar. With means I can’t think of so many things to write about.
If everyone wanna know something write a Comment and tell my so I can tell you.

How to survive…

Schooldays / Morning

The problem with the dessert all around is that it gets really cold in the nights and so mornings are nearly always freezes.

The problem with the school is the air conditioner keep it to cold inside s you get frizzed again. There for I often bring a pullover to school to wear it during the classes and nearly everyone is wearing trousers. Most teacher give us some assignment to work on during the lessons ore explain something using PowerPoint. Between the classes you have 8 minutes to get to your next class and grab the needed book with are really heavy. During lunch most people get lunch in the cafeteria (for 2$) or grab a pizza etc. (also 2$). There are only a few people bringing there own lunch to school. I will soon be one of them because 2$ everyday are a bit to much and if I save them I can buy myself some Oreo.

Afternoon

Who wonders if you are at home you have to do homework. That suck because every little homework will be graded and so be part of your mark. The problem is in
America you have a different attitude to homework everyone does his/her own because it is such a big part of your grade. After finishing homework you have to learn for the next quiz/test because you write one nearly every day.

After finishing this all it most times is about 7PM sometimes 11PM and you just want to sleep.

Grades

Your grade exists out of everything that is graded (homework test etc.). You just don’t really have an oral grade. But if you always do anything you pretty easy get a 95/100 in every class (as I). To explain this 90-100=A, 80-90=B etc. always in teen point steeps.

New Mexico

Today we went to the “Stat Fair”
Once you entered the fair after staining in a row for about 30min. you can visit special buildings with are sowing everything you possibly can know about New Mexico. There is a building “Natural Resources” animals etc., there are some art buildings and they have an “Indian Village” as well as a Hispanic Village and an African American Parvillong. These are all great thing for exchangestudents because you can learn a lot about the area you are living in. You also can find all kinds of different rides on the fair but after spending 4h walking around and seeing the prices of the rides I didn’t wont to try any of tham. But one guy tryed to make my go to the navy. This came to an end as I told him that I am an exchangestudent.

One last thing:  in future I will send more mails to send pictures, tell story that I won’t tell in the blog and stuff. Therefor: Grubby pls get a mail-adress and give it to me, I don’t want you to miss these ^^
